Let's give your heart some loving attention with a mental massage. I like to imagine smoothing and gently softening my heart whenever I'm feeling defensive or like I'm holding on to a grudge. It helps me feel like I'm ready to forgive and let go.

Although honestly, this quick exercise feels great all the time (grudge or not). It's always really nice to show ourselves love. We can't show affection to our insides, but this feels surprisingly close.
